Eucalyptus Refreshing and disinfecting, warms aching muscles. This is the only essence in my list that is exotic. The extract from the leaves and twigs of the gum tree comes from Australia and New Zealand.
Lavender Sprinkle fresh lavender sprigs in the bath. In small amounts it is relaxing. In large amounts it can be restorative and mood lifting.
Juniper Another strong essence, lovely for the bath and massage, with a special use as a rubdown to reduce cellulite.
Peppermint Stimulating and antiseptic for a footbath. Use sparingly as it is more potent than many other essences. Put 1 drop of peppermint and 2 drops of lavender oil in the carrier oil as a massage oil that both men and women will like.
