Choose the Right Makeup Base Colour
Choosing the right colour is important when applying makeup base because it corrects your skin's undertone. For skin with sallow tone (common among Asians), use a light purple base to tone down the yellowness and turn up the warm pink, while covering acne marks and rosacea at the same time. Green disguises redness and brightens skin tone, while pink disguises dullness for a more radiant finish. Orange base is best for correcting severe dark tone, particularly dark undereye circles. You may mix and match different colours to achieve the best results. Just be sure to match them to your skin tone.
I use Fancl Skincare Base Liquid (Green) to cover dullness and uneven skin tone, disguise the red pimple scars and acne on my face, and brighten up my yellowish complexion. It keeps my makeup stay longer, and its light texture leaves my combination skin fresh and matte most of the time.
